International calibration standards for the HPLC analysis of hop products and beer
A purified preparation of dicyclohexylamine salts of cis-hexahydroiso-α-acids. Total hexahydroiso-α-acids: 65.9% (w/w). Co-ratio of ICS-H2: 0.289. The concentration was determined by the International Subcommittee for Isomerized Hop Alpha Acid Standards and considers only the major forms of hexahydroiso-α-acids present, including two cis-hexahydroisocohumulones, two cis-hexahydroisohumulones and two cis-hexahydroisoadhumulones. Can be used with EBC, ASBC and MEBAK methods for beer and hop products.
