Volume calibration gauge for bottles

Description

Volume calibration gauges are available for common standard bottle shapes such as NRW, Longneck, Euro, Vichy and Steinie. In addition, they can also be custom-made for bespoke bottles on request (to do so, simply select ‘Individualflasche’ in the options and see the description below for more information).

In breweries and bottling plants, fill-level gauges are used primarily for manually checking the fill level of beer bottles or other beverages as part of quality assurance procedures.

Filling quantity templates are plastic sheets featuring a precise scale, clear labelling and an inner contour that matches the outer shape of the respective bottle exactly.

If the fill level gauge is placed on a sealed bottle and positioned correctly, it is possible to determine the actual fill level, the nominal fill volume and the permissible minimum fill levels in accordance with the tolerance limits (TU I and TU II) and visually detect any potential overfilling. Compliance with tolerances and limit values is governed by the provisions of the Pre-packaged Goods Regulation (FPackV).

The advantage of these gauges is that they allow for a quick and easy visual inspection: the gauge is held up to a bottle to immediately determine whether the fill level is within the specified tolerance range.
