Culture medium concentrate for the detection of beer spoiling bacteria:

  • Lactobacilli spp,
  • Pediococci spp,
  • Pectinatus spp,
  • Megaphaera spp.

Reference medium according to EBC and MEBAK

  • can be used simply by adding to yeast-cloudy beer samples, microscopic evaluation, without indicator detection

Specifications for NBB nutrient media:

pH: 5.8 ±0.2 (6.4 ± 0.2 for NBB-C)

Incubation temperature: 25 - 28°C

Incubation period: 5 days

Storage temperature: 4-8 °C

Shelf life from date of manufacture: 1 year
